Furor celticus.
His attire is clearly based upon the USMC dress uniform. After reading this article I sort take away the impression that Breivik is a bit of a egotistical role-player, one whose delusions unhinged his mind and caused him to act out his fantasies via a murderous rampage. I wonder if he even knows how to properly organize a salad bar (the cluster of campaign ribbons and medals)? There's a rather strict protocol that defines how they're supposed to be displayed on a military dress uniform.
