It certainly seems so. The spirit of Spain is very very different. We used to respect the enemy and have a chivalric attitude in war. Especially an army official would never speak like that to the troops. But this is somehow understandable, since Spain is a much older nation and the U.S. never went through a Middle Age, the most honorauble of Ages, in spite of what modern liberals say.

Don't think that British people are all so rude or ignorant- even the British people in the USA. It is to the embarassment of British-Americans that Christian monarchs like Arturius are mere legends. But what legends they make!
