A good video about the historical threat of Islam.
A good video about the historical threat of Islam.
"And, as we Catholics know, Western Civilization is Roman Civilization, first classical Roman Civilization, then Roman Catholic Civilization, as the Christians preserved and carried classical Roman Civilization to the world in a Christianized form. That is, after all, why we are described as Roman Catholics."
He starts, in the minute 8:30, talking about the difference between "classical christianity" and "bloody christianity" of today, difference promoted by the invasion of the muslims. And in minute 10:00 talks about the "dark ages". This men has no credibility. He tells the same lies, but with a "classical" (scientific, primarily) face.

I think it has been properly shown that the dark ages weren't so dark except in the minds of liberals. The narrator of the video has the secular view- to no fault of his own since the secularist view of history is the accepted defaul- that classical civilization was superior to feudal civilization that followed it, i.e. "the dark ages," and that there was no continuity between latter Roman civilization and the time frame of the feudal lords in Western Europe. The man has secular (scientific) view of history- but he deviates from the usual "barbarians destroyed the Roman Empire" and points the finger at the Muslims (honestly- how many will do this when the Muslims are typically portrayed as cultured and civilized as compared to the scruffy Christian barbarians of Western Europe?).
