Not only Dutch, but also German and French. Braun (and its variants) is a common surname in any Germanic language.

By the way, I'm pretty sure there are many Boers of Dutch-Jewish descent, even if they no longer practice Judaism and their ancestors where Calvinists (a form of Judaism in fact).
